The IPD Program at Lehigh University fully integrates the three fundamental pillars of successful product design and commercialization: design arts, engineering and business. Our program draws students, faculty and courses from the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business and Economics and the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science. Student teams comprised of all three disciplines work on a wide range of industry-sponsored projects - from the development of entirely new products (and even new companies!), to the redesign of existing products, to the improvement of manufacturing processes. IPD is not a major, but any major on campus can participate in one or more of the programs.
