This project intends to stimulate joint development of a methodology to enable Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in Brazil and Germany for sustainable manufacturing under consideration of available knowledge in the fields of management, technology, processes and products. It integrates research currently carried out within the DFG financed Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 281 “Disassembly Factories” and the Brazilian Ministry of Science and Technology (MCT) financed “Institute Factory of Millennium”.
